Such a negative word enemy is, and friends, so full of positivity. But can you really tell which one is which? Or what’s the expiry date of this optimism you see in your ally? Practically speaking, never.

Have you thought how uniquely analogous these things are to applying for a job? Let me give you a tour —-

Applying for a job is full of anticipation and so is taking the first step towards friendship. You never know what or how the series would unfold, yet the universe seems to give you signals that you’ll anyhow take it to the finishing point.

Next is the exam. In both the cases, you have to keep your mind very very clear and answer every question asked with utmost care. One wrong response can cost you tons.

If selected, then comes the most important and crucial period. The probation period. Here you are tested if you have it in you to carry the huge responsibility forward. One mistake, just one mistake and that leaves an impression forever. No matter how hard you try, it may fade away, but never fully gone. One opportunity they get of replacing you, and woosh you’re no one.

Last, but certainly not the least, is your performance in the first 2 yrs. If you are fortunate enough to pass the probation period, you are first taught the rules and regulations, then the diligence is assessed. You strive hard, sometimes stressed, very much migrained at times, still knowing there’s no way out as it was your personal decision, you try to keep it up with it.

Wait, what happens if you are unable to balance all the pressure? Till the time you both have equal understanding you are safe. Just a single doubt can act as a spark in creating a huge fire. Fatal fire. All the sweet memories, acquaintances, all left to dark, gloomy enemies. People you never want to come across with.

So just think who is really your enemy ( or friend for that matter )???
