Life in the hills, what an experience! To wake up with fresh air, trees all around you, fresh water, and no deafening horns. What ecstasy!!!
Yes, the glistering water and snow-capped mountains attract us humans to get some peace. To get some enlightenment. The beauty is at its peak there, ( quite literally ).
In return, we bestow nature with plastic pollution, air pollution, water pollution and if it weren’t enough, we burdened the hills with electric pollution via loads of cars.
Cameras are always on stand-by to store the aesthetics of The Almighty and his marvellous art in our brand new ( or old ) i-phones and androids. I think it’s a necessity too, or how would the coming generations know how these places ever looked like.
Solutions ought to be brought to, if not totally restored, then to preserve our Hills and Mountain Peaks.
A tiny part of development, like roads, shades and some stalls are okay. Vehicles only for senior citizens and handicapped persons should be allowed. Unnecessary flyovers and villas and resorts and ropeways could be avoided as in places like Mata Vaishno Devi, real purpose is devotion, and to make it a picnic spot, somewhat lessens its importance.

परन्तु अति आवश्यक आविष्कार विनाश की जननी है।।
